PURPLE ROYAL RED TWO TONE FAUX SILK DUPIONI 58"

This is a polyester dupioni fabric. It is made to emulate the look and feel of silk Dupioni. Allowing you the luxury look and feel at a fraction of the cost. It is a lightweight crisp fabric that tends to billow more than drape. 

The dominant color is a very vibrant blue, The fabric appears to have purple highlights even though there are no purple threads in this :). This color is achieved by combining a thick blue weft interwoven with a thin red warp. These two colors mix to create an iridescent color changing appearance that can bounce between purple, indigo and red.

Dupioni fabric is a plain-woven fabric. Using a fine yard on the warp and an uneven yarn on the weft. This creates visual and textural raised thin stripes in the fabric. The thread used here has a subtle sheen to it. giving it a subtle color refracting iridescence.
