PURPLE LILAC FAUX SILK DUPIONI

This is a polyester dupioni fabric. It is made to emulate the look and feel of silk Dupioni. Allowing you the luxury look and feel at a fraction of the cost. It is a lightweight crisp fabric that tends to billow more than drape. 

The dominant color here is a light purple. This is interwoven with a thin white thread. This creates a subtle frosted appearance.

Dupioni fabric is a plain-woven fabric. Using a fine yard on the warp and an uneven yarn on the weft. This creates visual and textural raised thin stripes in the fabric. The thread used here has a subtle sheen to it. giving it a subtle color refracting iridescence.
