This silk fabric is 100% hand woven and imported from India. My source says that he had it manufactured back in the 90s and recently found it in his warehouse. I purchased the last roll he had. This is a 42" wide 100% Silk Dupioni Fabric. This fabric has a very dramatic iridescent two tone appearance. This is caused by the weaving of black and red threads. It has a very pronounced black slub.
